OK...I'm back on some home time...I got almost right at 3000 miles my first week and a short load to get me home. I gotta change my license over to AR while I'm home and I will post more as I get some time....gotta go see the kids.

Thanks man...it worked out good. I got an International Pro Star (Eagle...whatever that means). The truck is really nice and I like it a lot; however, I did like the KW my trainer had due to the transmission and engine it had.

I like Central as a good starter company and think it will work well for me. I will say that an expereinced driver would fair better somewhere else (as far as $$$ goes...unless you are a trainer). I saw some of the paystubs of my trainer and he hauled in over 2k some weeks...THATS AFTER TAXES AND AFTER FUEL/MISC WAS DEDUCTED!!!! The lowest I saw him make was 1300 in one week (but we ran really hard the whole time as we could).

I had a good time with this trainer. He let me run the shift I liked (I prefer getting up around 2 am and putting some miles down early when the freight permits).

I have a good DM and even tho people talk smack on the weekend/night guys, most of them seem pretty good too. The do treat you well here and any newbie should have a descent experience as long as they have a good attitude, be honest, and work hard.

I don't talk smack about the week-end dispatchers. In fact I try not to talk to them at all hahahaha

Hi timd1978. The people that went home due to disclosure - what did they not disclose?.......drugs use, medication, work history? Thanks :)

All of that and anything else you can think of. If you lied on the application you can expect to be sent home. In fact you might as we'll stay home.
