Every truck driver should know, not to dodge a deer in a big-truck! Just hit the #### thing!

    Swift does it again.

Glad the driver is OK, and it doesn't really matter the size of the vehicle its usually better to just hit the deer than swerve off the road.

    A deer?

I'm not sure I buy the deer story in this particular case...not sure why...but I suspect fatique.

And is that really a 97 model tractor?

My guess is that it has to be an 07.
Even that is going to be an old tractor for one of the mega fleets.

If it really is a 97 it would have to be a contract driver. Even then I think Swift will
    have age restrictions.

I hope the driver is okay. I saw this posted on another site yesterday, at least this post has it listed right. the other said it was a Walmart truck. I question the deer story also.

Judging from what can be seen of the undercarriage, looks like an '07. Maybe a typo...

That's what I figured. I'm just surprised that, even though the trailer was empty, the reporter didn't submit that "...the 80,000 pound rig plunged...."...

Maybe he believed in reincarnation and didn't want to kill a relative?!
