Well I guess I lucked out. I'm on a load I picked up on Thursday and does not deliver till Monday. From Chico CA to Evendale OH.

I have had to haul ### to make it. I just finished for the day. I did 620 miles running 63MPH as fast as I Can go. I got 520 for tomorrow to the 90:biggrin_25522:

    HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY

I actually got "the last load on the west coast" today. Short run to Denver. I have to deadhead to Phoenix to get it, but when all is said and done, it pays the same per mile as if I grabbed a load in LA and went to Denver, so given the excellent fuel mileage bobtailing to Phoenix with a tail wind (they had me give my trailer to a guy loading in LA today, and told me to grab another empty in the PHX drop yard), I should come out ahead.

Chickens dropped dead early last night... DDT isn't for another couple of hours, and I'm better than half way there. That's two slow weeks in a row - Mr. FM better be prepared to run my wheels off the next couple of weeks!

Hey take your chat to another thread this is for CAGEtrucker darn it. LOL Seriously though I would prefer not to have to much other stuff in here besides my experience through orientation and training, then getting into my own truck. Much appreciated fellas. Hence the name of the thread CAGE and Prime Inc. Have a good one guys and Happy Easter to all. I have been sitting in SpringMo all day will be heading out early in the AM for a 6:30 delivery 3 hours away.

Speaking of which! At orientation and training do they work with folks in the reserves? Or would they prefer you miss a drill or two in order to get the 60k or so miles under your belt before that? :/ I've gotten mixed responses about this.

I met a guy in orientation who was in reserves, he said they were working with him and also said once he gets his trainer to communicate with him as well, so I would assume it should not be an issue.
