either that or park at the Petro on 57 at exit 335 Monee Illinois......even during the dead of winter at nighttime.....I have ALWAYS found a spot across the street in the extra lot.....they don't charge and you also have a tiny pilot there too......it's always been worth it for me
do not stop here (minooka, IL)

That Pilot in Minooka is a complete nightmare......I won't even fuel there anymore.....it's a friggin disaster.....I WILL drive farther away for a better environment ANYDAY of the week
Dna Mach, JimDriv3r, ironpony and 1 other person Thank this. -
That Pilot is always a cluster#*+#. The company has us fuel there way to often, but parking there is a complete nightmare.
-
If I have to take a break anywhere near that area, I run out to I80 exit 93. The Shell truckstop may have a potholed lot, but the folks are friendly and the restaurant has good chow.
The only time I've seen trouble finding a spot to park there was during the blizzard this winter. -
I35 E TX. Stopped in the other day its outta bus. Was a great place to eat? WTF ?
-
I won't even bother stopping at the Pilot. There is usually a 1/2hr to 1hr wait to get fuel..... as for sleeping there, I just drive another hour east to my house LOL
Ranger70 Thanks this. -

There's plenty of entertainment at the Minooka Pilot. Colors shine there, lol.
SHC Thanks this. -
Isn't there a rest area right there? I mean 2, one on each side of the road? I'll p/up tomorrow at Clorox right there in the afternoon and may not have many hrs when I leave but already planning on going somewhere else to take my break.
