Finally got the new Qualcomm installed in my truck. For those of you who get it and want to learn how to use it just log on and watch the tutorials on the qualcomm.
Very simple to use you just add the letter D before your driver code and enter your password. I love it especially the Navgo GPS well until it crashed on me today and has not come back up just yet.
Hoping when it boots up in the AM it will fix the gps so I can use it. The touchscreen keyboard seems to me to be slower than just using the pull out keyboard.
There is a web browser tab that will bring up the Swift drivers site just like on the Kiosk if you can get it to work. have not figured out exactly if it picks up wifi or if that is something the company has to add.
There is a performance tab where you can see info about what has gone on during your trip. Scanning button is there but not working so it is just a matter of time before we can scan from the truck.
There are two printers listed under printers but again maybe this is something they need to add. You can delete your messages after you are done with them and I like this so I no longer have to worry about going through tons of messages.
It's setup just like your email inbox. games tab does not work on mine as well. There are a bunch of other buttons that they may be adding soon but as far as it is right now definitely worth the install. I love where mine is mounted right on the dash by the steering wheel.
The messages will come right through your speakers and sometimes it will kill the right speaker but all I do is get her to talk again and my music comes back on all speakers. looks like a giant GPS sitting on my dash!
You will be able to watch porn right from your dash!!![]()

Got pics of that thing on your dash? Is it just me or is that mounting location a baaaad idea? Just saying.

Was at a terminal the other day,
A driver was there with the top of his cab ripped open.
Said he followed the new qualcomm directions....
took him to an 11' 6" bridge...
and he didn't see the sign..... crunch
13' maybe, but 11' 6"? Doesn't he have eyeballs?
So maybe still be careful with the qual. GPS
(If his story is to be believed) -
the gps tracks u,and records, play all u want with ur log,but the truth is recorded

If you use a cheap GPS unit for cars, this will happen...

How do you log into them? None of the DM's know and I can't figure it out.
Is it suppossed to turn on and off and not barely work until you log into it or something? Mine just keeps on turning on and off, and when it comes on I can only use it for ten seconds before it freezes, shuts off and on again.
