CA, NY, NJ, CT and MD are places its best not to get caught with a gun in.

One dude just got out of jail after 7 years for carrying an unloaded, locked up handgun through MD so be careful out there.

Yeah, MD is insanely strict. I knew a kid who got 2 years in a Maryland state prison for getting caught with 2 ounces of marijuana while at a concert.

Aren't those the states that usually have the highest crime rates?

That's a lot of wasted tax money on a sensless crime. I'm sure their's a whole lot more to the story to get 7 years or even a month

I was thinking the same thing. From what I've read, you can transport through the state as long as it's unloaded and locked up and inaccessible.

You are taking a considerable risk doing this.
If you get fired for having a gun in a company truck...you will most likely be blackballed from the industry.
Reason being...carriers and their insurance companies do not want the liability of an accidental discharge, negative public relations, lawsuits, etc.
If your gun is more important than your job, then by all means go for it.
It's your job not mine on the line.

^ To everyone wondering why the country is the way it is. its people with an attitude like this. That just rollover because some overpaid politician or ceo said its the law. People have 0 sense of freedom and will do as there told instead of fighting for what they believe in. Welcome to socialist america! where as bush and obama have said the constitution is only a piece of paper.
