Private showers

Sad, just #### sad! How do they pass the health code? I swear if the oil boom does this to our state you will see an uprising from our forefathers and mothers! lol

 

i have been otr for over 22 years and have never seen a pilot that did not have showers and only the super small fuel stops dont have showers

 

Wear shower shoes.

Well, there's the Pilot in Tilbury Ontario that doesn't have showers.

I have been to two that did not have them. One was up north somewhere. It was on a state line if I remember right. Trying to remember where it was. I know that panhandlepat had been to the same one. He did a restart there once and stayed at the motel beside it.

 

I have been to two pilots that don't.

 

Pendleton OR at Arrowhead has nice showers, Sparks Nv ,TA,/ Iowa 80, Walcott IA,/ Boise Stage Stop, Boise ID./Little america , little america wy...just to name a few...oh yeah, and CountryBoy has been out here 27 yrs, myself 20, never heard of one room showers with 3 heads sticking out and hope not to touch other person next to ya...lol.......not that they didnt exist..but.....musta been before our time...thats a new one to me....I know it asked about private showers, but thought I would mention a few nice ones...

 

Yes, thank the sweet Lord that a few things have changed for the better. 1989 or so, had to get a guard to watch the door (no lock) and plug all the peep holes in the wall to get a shower. They had only one and of course when it was built they never dreamed a woman would be driving a truck "all by herself" - that's when you know you are desperate for a shower!
