I understand, but the guy was just asking a question, and mentioned that his friend might have heard incorrectly - the rude response just wasn't warranted.

My 2005 reefer with less than 10,000 hours on it will be illegal come Dec 31, 2011 in the Peoples Republic of Cal. It really ticks me off. I think they should make everyone in the state that drives a car older than 2005 sell it and buy new also. Same with the stupid trailer rules for 53', like a 48' somehow has no aero drag to it or a set of double for that matter.

    Redd,

It's not like he was calling me up at 3am and talking trash. Just like you heard stuff all day, and I'm sure you've mentioned something to a buddy that started with "I heard....." at least once before:).

Either way. I think I got the info I needed from the link on the other post. Thanks to everyone.

As I'm new to the board, I tried to use the means before posting and starting another of those lovely forum fights that " I've heard " so much about. LOL. Ok, now I'm just picking the wound.

Big trucks use to run on mothing but gasoline back in the day. Everything got switched to diesel because it is suppose to be more efficient

Yes, hence the term of the world would be a different place. Your also forgetting the fact that diesel IS much more efficient then gas.

First guy I drove for had a gmc single axle (i think it was gmc) but it was gas and it was like driving a 20ton briggs n straton around:)
