    All lamps are on.

Do the same conversion with your truck and it'd be better, easier to drive when it is dark, and do it for safety.

I put HID in projectors only to avoid glare. fog lamps look bright becouse camera was positioned low. really foglamps are low beam projectors from Volvo headlamps

Not necessarily endorsing this site but lots of good info about what i am saying. I have done this conversion with my p/u and wifeys Lincoln T/C (the headlights sucked in the towncar).
Got the relay and wiring harness so fused feed comes off battery and is switched by regular headlight switch. Made for much better lights. Seems like relays would make for more things to go wrong but no problems yet. I have a spare relay in car and p/u, just in case.
The KW lights are good but may do this relay conversion to the W/S someday(poor lights in W/S). Trying it out in the 4wheelers first and been very happy, so far.

    ouh, relay photos tommorow)

here we use European headlamps, in the USA DOT are legal only, but European light pattern is better (to see sights, edge of road). One my friend uses european HID projectors in US headlam units...

i dont think i've seen a headlight for the 387 yet? i have however seen many many many of them with a simple hid conversion....ive got them in my car and i like them, ive been slacking on getting a set for the truck

    Gears Thanks this.
  6. You can try Sylvania Silver Star bulbs. Brightest (legal) ones you can get. I have heard of a lot of harley riders going to an off road 85w bulb, or you could go HID which will require a new type of bulb and a ballast.

I got a set of low beam crystals the other day from the chrome shop at Tallapoosa GA. And i can truthfully say best money i have invested in the trk in along time. They really light the dark black roads up.Ive asked many drivers if the light bothers them when they pass and all have said no,that I must have them adjusted just right. They also work great in rain and fog. Hope this helps someone having a little trouble seeing in these conditions.

The other way is to remove glasses from headlamps, install 90 mm HID projectors inside... ore any European HID projectors you can fing on JY. I got damaged headlamps from BMW (not sure) and I took them apart and used projectors that were not broken. I did it with my Taurus.

Yes. I've used them and can guarantee that your distance is at least twice as far and the sides are also greatly increase. Ditches light up real nice. About $41.00 in Canada.

You can also put in different bulbs. There are 4 bulbs that will fit these with whiter light etc.

    FIB and Ken Thank this.

The newer KW buckets will fit them. I had a KW with theold style buckets and simply used a hole saw (3") and added 4 inches of 3 1/8th ID Rad hose with a cap on the end and works just great.
