Hopefully you're not as annoying as that guy is. I like the inside look at different aspects of driving, but Robby is a little too excited to be there.

    It's really not bad....

Off topic. Have any stories about being a 21 y/o "kid" out on the road? I started at 21 and used to hear it all the time on the cb, other drivers, waitresses...

One night I stopped at the Green Shingle on I-90 in Erie, Pa. (it's gone now). I went inside to the restaurant and sat down. Without saying a word the waitress brought over two place settings and two waters and said she'd be back in a second for my drink order. I couldn't figure out why the two settings. She came back and I asked if she was joining me for dinner and that's why she set up two spots. She got all nervous and said she thought I was waiting for my dad to come in. :biggrin_25523: I didn't shave for a year after that.

Now that I'm nearly 36 and been doing this for 15 years I see the "kids" coming in and I'm just amazed at how young they look to me. Don't see too many drivers that young.

Nothing that funny, but I have had customers tell me to tell my dad to back into door #xx before lol. And every where I go Customers, other drivers, mechanics, loaders, people on the street stare and ask how old i am along with 1000 other questions lol.

Ha! I used to get all of that.

I still get people that don't believe I have 15 years driving. While I don't have the nerve to be OTR anymore, I wouldn't give back any of that time being I got to do so much in my 20's. It was really cool. I still get the itch to go run out west, I just don't want to be gone that long anymore.
