Hello Hoedown.
The tractor will be white (unless you're on a special fleet that has black ones OR if you're an O/O or L/O) and the lettering will be blue (unless it's green). It will be an international (unless it's a volvo or a freightliner or ummm yeah ).
I team with my husband and the company has done very well by us. I'm sure that by this evening there will be a number of people who will tell you to never NEVER EV ERRRRRRRRRR go with Swift because it's a real bottomfeeder company and they know this because they heard some guy say his aunt's brother's cousin's sister dated a guy who's father's neighbor's brother worked for swift.
Like all companies it has it's strong points and some imperfections. I suggest you read through the current Swift threads and thus you'll get an idea about what actual employees (both current and past) think of the company.
I'm sorry I can't help you out with the miles, we run reefer on a dedicated wal-mart fleet. -
What kind of bad experience did you have exactly

By the way Im not on here to argue about boyd,I just want the lowdown on swift.Ive made my mind up to go there way.

I was just seeing if it hurt your driving record or anything, swift can be tough about that.

Swift has freight and a lot of it. I've been solo since August 13, 2010. Unless miles drop off significantly, I will have run more than 125,000 by August 2011. There are plenty of drivers who do more than that. I run out of the Memphis terminal, I don't turn down loads (except for HOS), I don't run days only and hometime happens every 3-4 weeks. If your DM and the planners get used to the idea that you came on board to work, you'll do fine.
