387 Resonator removal?

    Just picked up a 2006 387 and noticed a resionator/cat under the cab, then 2 mufflers on the stacks??? I am going to yank the convertor out in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone else had removed theirs? A local guy here has a 379 that he removed the convertor and said his MPG went up by .3-.4 ??? Worth a shot anyways LOL
