Got back to the motel around6:30. Have homework to do(50 openbook questions about DOT REG'S. A group of us to meet in lobby to split up the work @7:30( It took one HR. to complete)

The day wasn't that bad! In the morning all classroom time with a test. Learned paper logs, and some pre paper work;alot to follow at a later date. Class started at 7:00lunch # 2:00-3:00. After lunch some more class room till around 4:00. Went outside to see if we could climb to the truck and walk to end to end bending down T0 SIMULATE opening the hatch, so far the only physical thing? Went back to the class room talked about different valves and another test. went to the computer room and did some computer work till 6:00

Good luck !! This is going to be a life changing event for you. Just what ever you do keep a good attitude an open mind and really pay attention. Truck driving can still be a good career and can be enjoyable sometimes plus you can make a good living once you get past your first or second year. Starting out as a tanker you will really need to learn how to shift smoothly , slow down at the cruves and on/off ramps take your time you will do fine. Your starting off with a very good company there very strict on safety and have very good training ,Some people may not like SNI but i think you couldn't have done any better than what you choose. Good luck keep us posted.

I know two guys that did not make it through, did not get the details why though.

BE careful on the answer sharing. make sure it is ok. My test was open book, but in the test room, there were big bold signs all over that read "OPEN BOOK - NOT OPEN DISCUSSION"

    Best of luck to you.
