While I admire the companies advocate whom posted here, his loyalty is mis placed...... stealing insurance premiums is unacceptable! Doesn't make a sheet if "no one was told", what matters is the collection. That's fraud !

Failure to maintain W.C. is against the law, period!

Delayed paychecks is bull ! How do you know the paper is not hot??

And this fuel card thing.....jeeze...... and a repo man?

The ship is sinking and even Ray Charles can see that, fuel your tanks and head home before they cancel the card.

    Good luck drivers......

The writing is all over the wall about this co! When payroll can't be met and fuel is not able to be bought, well that should be a sign to bail while you can & not wait until ship totally sinks.

Unfortunately you have decided to make up your own story - since I am the one you are calling a company "advocate" you need to explain how I started this thread and have continued this thread with HONEST negative comments about communication, fuel networks, maintenance, company history ...
I have no way to confirm someone's comment about no WC insurance, I haven't found any resource on-line to share that information about a truck company, can you provide such?
"stealing insurance premiums" is not occuring as far as I know. It was a problem last year. The drivers I have spoken to have not had deductions taken since March when BCBS cancelled, and as I stated previously, while AAX should have, could have, started my deductions in March, they never did.
From several drivers I understand that letters went out last week finally notifying them that there was no current BCBS coverage - I THINK that was sent by BCBS not AAX.
The fuel card thing has been reported by me repeatedly - it has been on-going so is not really relevant to the melt-down occuring this week and as far as the people I have talked to each day this week, nothing has changed - as I have reported several times, fuel cards have occasionally come up dry at the end of the day and gotten re-authorized the next morning (in my 5 months that has happened 6-7 times and I understand it happend again early this week).
I'm not advocating that is right, I'm stating that fuel IS being purchased day to day by all drivers and no one is sitting with no fuel and as of Monday no one is at risk of having a truck taken. I have heard of NO repossessions since the 2 or 3 that occured Monday in Utah. It's ridiculous to think the company is going to risk millions in lawsuits by letting product spoil or not get delivered in a reasonable time frame because they can't float $50,000 a day in fuel expenses.
I have stated repeatedly drivers should pack their bags and be out of the truck as soon as it is feasable for them unless they want to get caught the way the drivers in Utah did.
Unfortunately, this all began approximately 10 days ago which means drivers leaving FL last week when it hit the fan would just be returning to FL this weekend (5 days out, 1 day restart, 6 days back). Any driver on the road by next Monday is taking his or her chances but its silly to think drivers could have bailed this past week when they have been in the middle of a x-country round trip.

Dorothy's comments have already been addressed by me in acknowleging that statements were put out company-wide via qualcom both Monday and Tuesday saying payroll was not being met on time with the latest update this afternoon from Lakeland being pay would be deposited to drivers with payroll card today and those with direct deposits late today.
Her comment about AAX "stealing" from driver's doesn't resonate with me as I came on-board as this company was hitting its low point 5 months ago and I have been paid (up until this week) for all miles, all acceessorial pay, all expenses, several layovers, and costs related to the collection of my belongings after the repo last week.
And no, I have Direct Deposit and did NOT get my pay. I told them today I would not return to work nor would I return their week old paperwork (BOLs) until I am paid. If a driver wanted to take a stand, he or she should have been prepared to park the truck this week and pay his or her own way home.

Someone saying the writing is on the wall and drivers should bail while they can is ignoring the fact that this has all just occured and we drivers have had no real cause for concern until the repo incident 10 days ago and that those drivers already under load, are pretty much commited for the next 12 days unless they want to abandon the equipment and risk a career ending hit on their DAC for doing so.

I would love for Jamal to turn this train wreck around before it goes totally off the rails but I, for one, have already jumped off the train and am reporting it as it happens.

Read the posts here driver...... there's one whom says they have been taking premiums and he just got a cancellation notice that the policy was out in Feb. That's 3 months where I went to school. That's fraud too.

You were the one sticking up for them explaining away the repos as former business left overs from corruption by former partners etc.

Committed for 12 days? Where do you get that from? A smart driver will empty his trailer and head for home unless he's already on the East Coast ...but if he's on the West Coast then it's 3 days max....unless your suggesting he reload?

Feel free top defend them at will, no problem here. This is a public forum where one can voice their opinion and I have voiced mine. AAX is going down from what I read here and that's my opinion. They stole insurance premiums according to the other poster and that's fraud and they don't have W.C. according to others and that's illegal.

    WTF Driver?

    drvrtech77 Thanks this.

well, Chalupa, it must be nice to not only be all-knowing, but to also be Trump rich for you to suggest a driver abandon equipment and go a thousand dollars farther into debt to simply go home on his own dime. Must also be nice to not run logs and have a fast truck that lets you do a day of pickups and run 3300 miles in 3 days but that's not how it works with 65mph trucks that average 700 miles per shift.
Trying to ensure the FACTS are out there and not the rumor (there is also a driver below who posted falsely that trucks were being repo'ed all over the country on Tuesday and that the fuel networks had insinuated the fuel network was shut down for good) is not defending a wrong-doer. I don't take an anonymous post as fact, I take the word of drivers I have actually spoken to and to my own experience. And obviously since I bailed out and have been recommending others do the same, I am not defending AAX by any stretch of the imagination.
enjoy your opinions but they would be more valuable if they were based on fact.

Tomorrow is this week's payday - IF I get paid, I'll consider it IF they have a truck ready for me by the weekend. I need to be in a truck by next week somewhere or another.
I'm considering making an application to Tango Transportation - a private recruiter just posted on the Chatt craigslist for them - no long haul but good regional stuff (SE, midsouth and midwest) with decent pay.
