I'm just passing this info along in case someone is interested. I don't know anything about them nor am I affiliated with this school in any way. They posted on craigslist today and are advertising a 3 week CDL course for $1999.00 if you sign up in April. Mods; May I post the name and phone #? If not just check craigslist from ATL and look under transportation jobs.

3 weeks? Does that even get you to 160 hours?

no way you'd get your money's worth or be anything that resembles safe of proficient after only three weeks and it surely can't be ptdi certified. the course i'm in is 8 weeks / 380 hours and was only $900 at a local community college and that bought enough time in the seat to actually know what i'm doing enough not to kill anyone once i get out with a trainer. seems to me that anyone who paid 2000 for only three weeks is getting ripped off.....but, coming from an aviation background i'm a little critical of training and how much you're actually 'trained' by the time you come out the other side.

There are folks who have paid a lot more than this for a 3 week school. If you want to know the in's and out's of this school you need to contact them. Again, I was only passing on info i saw on craigslist.

They have a list of carriers on their web site that they claim hire their graduates. Two that stood out - MS Carriers and Consolidated Freightways........

That is a hoax. MS Carriers is out of business and has been for a long time. MS Carriers was bought out by Swift more than 5 years ago. Good luck on your trucking journey.

CF has been out of business for years as well.

That was my point. In fact, their "CF" link takes you to a web site for the bankruptcy filings for CF. Makes you wonder how up to date they are on other aspects of the trucking business.
