Fanbelt Tension issue

    good morning to all of ya. I have an issue with my fan belts on my Century with an N14.

    I've swapped them out recently, and one shredded, so I replaced both of them again, but i found as I was tighten them one belt gets really tight and the other one is still a bit loose. I do not want to deal with another shredded belt it really messed a few things up. any one ever had this problem? both belts are the same brand and numbers.

    This is common. Because they have the same part numbers on them does not mean they are the same exact size. Belts used to be sold in pairs but they don't seem to do that anymore. When buying new belts get two that are as close to the same size as possible.
