I'm not a driver, but I used to drink a lot of beer,so here's my 2 cents:
I only drank after work about a sixpack per day. On weekends I could easily polish off 12 beers or more per day per day;problem was after doing this for a long time ,I would get the shakes and couldn't wait for the next time I could drink. Sometimes I even drank at work, never got caught or even questioned about my drinking.Eventually I went to a few AA meetings with my uncle and we both gave up drinking. I was the main breadwinner for my family of 5 and knew that if I continued to drink,I would lose my liscence and my ability to drive to work. Now I don't even like beer anymore, when I have one it just makes me sleepy;my wife has an occasional beer at restaurants;I just order a caffinated soft drink.I think as we age our tolerance for alchohol changes. Any how that's my story.
Were to go?

18 or 22 beers is considered "binge" drinking. It is a red flag for any personnel department. Not necessarily a "do not hire" but it will definitely attract attention.
If they have any other candidates without red flags then you will be moved to the bottom of the list.
Good luck, maybe take a year off to get your foot in the door.

Quitting ain't an obstacle i just like to unwind after a week of work and 18 beers sums it up for me. I dont need beer to relax sometimes it depends on how much i made that week to either go get my selves a nice massage or beer.

The number 18 keeps coming up

As for why IDk,,but like another poster added,"why did you even bother to say you drank at all, albeit 18 beers
There has to be more to this story, like a positive screen or some other work related instance,Ive never been asked how many drinks i consume on my off time. -
I think something else happen I might be wrong. Maybe he wore the same clothes he drank in and smelled like it.

Nope I assure you I didn't fail a DOT drug test. They gave me one right there before I could even proceed to see the doc. And as for putting I drink that many I didn't really think anything of it, like I said I'm a new to all this.
