Any updates drp3636? Did you finally get to join A.D.? How do you like it so far?
Since you knew what to expect going in, you should do just fine there. Was what I told you accurate?
Oh..... and to update and set the record straight. A.D. gave me every penny owed me from my deposit and then some. There was no deduction for cleaning my truck. I checked my DAC and they did not tell any lies there. All in all, they were more than fair with me. -
Also, curious to see if drp3636 went to work for A D. Glad to see A D was fair with you ChuckK70. A friend of ours worked for a company, had a heart attack 50 miles from the company. He had to be taken away in an ambulance. Cost to him, $768.00. Are you working somewhere else now? Do you like that company?

I would'nt be so fast to say, not enough money in 1500+ mile runs. As of now those runs pay .34 cpm. I get out west every chance I get. Simply because easy miles. I can log 640 miles in 10 hrs. East of the Mississippi that's hard to do (legally). As for the money side, here's a look at my last week. 3565 miles # .34 cpm,,106 miles # .40 (mty miles pay .40 regaurdless) total miles 3671 $1,254.50. Not a bad week in my book, all legal, and did'nt need to knock myself out in traffic. The best part of the whole week NOT ONE TRAFFIC BACK-UP! that's right 7 days not one back-up.

Hubby just got back from a western run. Traffic in California sucks, but the only other obstacle was the snow in the mountains. Beats the northeast any day.

What's everyones current view on A.D? WW is your husband still there and happy? I have read and seen a lot of bad things about their CSA scores. Currently they are 80.2% on their unsafe driving rating and 92.7% on their HOS rating. Good maintenance rating at 19.4% though. I like a lot of the things I have read here they seem like a decent company to work for, and those bad ratings are really based on the driver, not the company. I am an excellent driver with an equally excellent driving record and DAC. The only thing I don't want to do is run overnight, as in like starting at 8, 9 pm and running until the next day, not my thing. I don't care about distance and I stay out 4-5 months at a time, I could care less about getting back to MI I am a single guy and I live in the truck. Any info helps, thanks a lot everyone. I was also wondering what kind of transmissions they run? I am hoping 13 speeds.

They have excellent well maintained equipment. From the outside looking in you would think they were a top-flight company, think again. You will be fine as long as you accept illegal loads. Once you refuse you will be treated as the scum of the earth. Left sitting at truck stops, loads canceled, called in to see management (they wont help, expect you to run illegal as well without saying it flat out). A legal top notch driver, take my advice STAY AWAY FROM A.D. !! My time was from 2006 to 2009. Maybe they have changed from then...I hope so!
