company school?

    Dont have to many good chances so which better school company keep in mind going have to put yr+ in one these bad companys. Pam,Swift,Stevens,Prime? Any others? Need cdl training job and have no money bad credit and family. Any ideas??

    I'm lookin to get into trucking also. I did some research and if you need free CDL training, all the companies I've looked at so far require a year of employment. I'm going to get trained with Driver Solutions next month and just do the year then after that I'm thinkin Crete. As far as the best company to get free training, there seems to be alot of good things said about Roehl in comparison to the others, but it is still one of those startup companies.

    Roehl seems best or Millis I dont think Crete will hire you if you go to that Pam school. Crete told me there not hiring from to many schools right now they told me get 6 months to a year exp. then call again. They might take you they said they for sure not hiring out of Florida here now.

    Went there March '06- Indianapolis, IN-they did keep me an extra week on 'range', but I passed the Indiana CDL road / range test on first try...

    One guy (turns out they called him "OJ"- due to identical face / size), passed the DS (C-1) course on schedule and failed the Indiana test every day for at least one week...

    Would hafta say that schneider would have the best school... but the down side is working for them after..
