Lol, they won't have any luck there either. Though my goatee is pretty long. Eh whatever happens happens. After thinking about it I highly doubt a company using a cdl mill will want my hair anyway. After my year (or 2 or 3 if I can stomach it) is up then I'll be squeaky clean and can start looking at some more reputable companies.

 

You have nothing to worry about. If the medical review officer called you which he won't. All you do is tell him what you told us. Doctors name, date and treatment. He won't say anymore. The surgery will be documented on your long form anyways. Case closed.

 

This is only an issue if you are still taking the Rx. Testing of hair is an expensive proposition for an employer, and so is rarely done. If you are no longer taking vicodin, than you do not need to disclose it. The FMCSR requires that if a test is positive on the initial sample, the medical officer of the testing facility, by phone, will then call you and ask for an explanation. Your explanation will include the name and contact information of your physician so that the vicodin Rx can be verified.
