Hi everyone.
So I have a big career change ahead of me. I was in the cemetery and monument business for almost 17 years making and installing headstones as well and digging graves and cemetery maintenance. I ran 2 cemeteries and am still co-owner of the monument company. I am now getting a divorce and want nothing to do with the business anymore as its my wifes family business. I loved to travel and always wanted to be a driver. The nice thing is I have no kids or real bills to pay so aside from the divorce my stress is pretty low.
In 2 weeks I start school at the C1 in Ft Wayne IN. I have read mixed reviews but most of the bad ones are from over 4 years ago. But I put up with a lot of crap working for my in-laws for 13 years and if I can survive that I can survive anything. I love to drive and can learn to drive anything on wheels.
After school I'm set up to do team driving with PAM trucking for the first 6 months. Luckily I am an easy person to get along with and very few people rub me the wrong way.
Hopefully everything goes well and I can make a good career from driving. For the next 2 weeks I will be reading and absorbing everything I can from these forums and any other sources I can get my grubby mitts on.
So here I go. Starting my second career and a new chapter in my life. Woohoo.

Thanks for all the welcomes. I been reading posts here all week. I was particularly entertained by the lot lizard thread. I always thought that was an urban myth haha. 10 days till I leave for school. I can't wait.
And as for crazy, believe me I know crazy. Most people here seem pretty sane with a touch of goofy which is no problem at all.
