Just curious what rule of thumb companies use to increase price per mile paid to their drivers?
If you have 1-3 years?4-8? etc.........30 cents for new and .40 for?
In this economy?

Rates translate into:
0 - 1 years = poverty
1 - 3 years = welfare

some companies just pay almost what the others are paying. there is not any set standard of pay per mile or per hour. some will also follow closely what the union shops are paying. then too in "this economy" many companies have hit the drivers with wage freezes or pay cuts...some also have or had hiring freezes as well.
so there is "no rule of thumb"..... -
It's whatever the truck company can get away with. Watch out for "bonus's". Usually hard to achieve.
