I am not going to get into a contest with you about the whole thing. I am familiar with the "butterfly effect" and it is based upon a "theory". Do you know what that means?

Here is a fact for you. If our government keeps the ban on oil drilling and continues to depend on foreign sources for oil, it will eventually bankrupt this country by driving up the cost of consumer goods to the point where no one can afford anything. They (our current government administration) knows this. That is why they won't drill for oil here. If you can bankrupt the people of this country, then you can control their every move. Where and when they eat, where they sleep, etc.

Wake up friend and get a grip on reality. If you like your government "for the government by the government" then keep thinking the way you do. Our government could do something about the rising price of fuel. But why would they? That would interfere with their plans for socialism.

    I am out. Cya.

well if everyone got a solar powered car, put solar panels on their house right there would cut the need for oil by alot. but no one is gonna do that. there are alot of things we could do to cut the need for oil but no one wants to do them cause its a inconvenient thing. changing light bulbs, drive smaller cars, turn off stuff when we dont need it. if everyone did that kind of thing then we wouldn't be so reliant on foreign oil so the prices wouldn't matter.

oil is a limited resource. no way of getting around it. you cant keep drilling cause eventually there will not be any left. we have to think of other things to use besides oil.

Or you could just not buy gas and diesel :biggrin_255:

No one forces you to buy groceries either. You choose to do so out of convenience not necessity.

All this hyperbole of them controlling you by pricing petroleum products is predicated on you wanting to buy them. Do with less, or none at all.

The minute there ever is a trucker's nationwide strike is the minute you'll see THOUSANDS of MEXICAN TRUCKS hauling the loads.

    Guaranteed.

You see, it's called "Globalism". Some people call it the "New World Order". You can call it what it is, ENSLAVEMENT.

I hate to say it, so I'll just repeat Thomas Jefferson:

"The end of democracy and the defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.

God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty....

And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure."

You hit it right on the head, Southern Star. The trucking industry is experiencing what all the other industries have already gone through. There is a flood of cheap labor that is driving the wages down much like in construction and manufacturing. As you said, if we park our trucks we will just have all the Mexican trucks passing us by. To those who think the DOT will stop them by shutting down their illegal and unsafe trucks, think again. We have a government that is tied up in all kinds of back room deals with other countries. Everyone in Washington, from the president on down, has sold this country out.

    That's correct.

And where was the U.S. Military? Where are they now? Whose side are they on, We the People or the U.S. Empire INC. privately owned by Central Bankers who have enslaved the populace by the mechanations of Fractional Reserve Banking and Fiat money which in turn leads to enormous TAXATION to service their PERPETUAL DEBT?

The current national debt is $14,368,696,944,303.32 and grows by $4.03 billion per day in interest charges. What would the U.S. Military do if We the People said "We're OUT of the Union until this SLAVERY is ended"?
