Need a strong handheld CB

Seems like everyone is getting off track from the OP... the benefit of a handheld is just that--portability. Why would you want to add a cigarette lighter adapter and an external antenna adapter to it? You may as well buy one of those tiny little Midland's at that point.

I don't slip seat now but when I did, I had a regular 29 mounted in a little wooden box with a carry handle on it; two power leads with alligator clips to hook into the fuse panel and an external antenna with a vise-grip mount to attach it to the mirror bracket. The setup took less than two minutes to move from truck to truck.
