Great trailers... but they wouldn't build the side rails like I needed so I bought a Chaparral .
I DO have Western mudflaps on my 379...

Were you looking for outside frame rails? Western seems to be the only new ones I see anymore.

Nope... but I didn't want the deck filled in all the way to the outside rail... I needed to run a chain inside the rub rail and they wouldn't build it that way. I LIKE the way they build 'em but it didn't work for me...Native Dancer Thanks this.

They are now owned by Doonan... i think they are still bullding them. Mine was a 2003 IIRC....

Bought the Chapparal (2011) myself,really happy with the trailer.

no different than the steel ones, and it doesn't take much of a flat to haul lumber.
Nice trailers but won't hold up in steel country. I went to the factory to look at their hopper flats. They're way too proud of them though. -
