Well, Knight may not pay $3.00/mile and run chicken-light-festooned KW900L's, but they don't run into Canada as of this moment. Might want to give them a shot. :smt102

Heh...I had a friend who worked for Knight...he wasn't impressed...

I stand corrected.
I also found out that a bad check that was paid will also keep you out. (Not mine) -
I have heard that statement before....... I have a friend of mine that...... or I know someone that.......... -

Nice way to ruin a vacation. Don't you just love that kind of surprise? NOT -
Midemeanors older than 10 years won't keep you out of Canada, save for certain drug, burglary, or sex offenses. At least that is the scoop I got when I went to Canada back in 2002. Felons are banned for life, I was told.
But, according to the same officials at the border, Canada is flexible with misdemeanors. If you have one that is less than 10 years old, you can apply for a kind of special permit. You let them know your circumstances and then they decide to let you in or not. I do know many a baseball, hockey, and basketball player must go to Canada for games. A few of those guys have recent misdemeanors on their records, and they are allowed in through this special app procedure. I don't know how this would work...you'll have to check the Canadian immigration website or a site devoted to Canadian tourism.
Canada is awesome, so if you have to apply to get in, I'd do it. It's worth going up there, at least in the summer. I just wonder how long the app procedure will take. Probably 6 months to a year. -
I would use caution with any offense you may have got in U.S.
A childhood friend of mine got a misc. for 3 joints when he was 17,
his parents were divorced, so it was hidden from DADSo at the time of my friends dad retirement, dad bought a beauty 23' center console, sport king fisher. And off they went to Canada, until the ch. point, well they both got a surprise, my friend was question about that incident from 20 yrs ago, DAd was rip roaring, my friend who has a family, maintains the same job for 15 yrs, was very embarrassed, they did get let across the border, but they did lose 5hrs. of fishing time
