I spoke to my recruiter and she said the policy on pets has been changed. Now company drivers are allowed to have a pet if they sign the paper and pay the deposit. I plan on starting on the 17th of May. Getting nervous and anxious now.... Need to make sure I have everything taken care of before I leave.... But it is a start. I have been studing the practice tests on the cristcdl site, getting pretty good at the tests, aced a few. Learning not only what the correct answer is, but also WHY it is the correct answer. I will not be able to get my permit while still in Alabama, and have no book to study. I am trying to wrap my head around as much as I can before I leave. Any help would be much appreciated.

She said, if I remember right, it was 300.00.... upfront. Anyone know if I need a copy of my GED?

My understanding through the rumor mill ( talking to company drivers with pets) is a $300 up front deposit and monthly deposits until the $1000 amount is reached.
-
How much are the monthly payments?
-
Am not sure...something in the back of my mind says $250 until the $1000 is reached? Could be totally wrong, but that is what I am remembering.

To me it is still well worth it to be able to take him with me. He is my buddy so..

Totally agree!! I go nowhere without James Tiberius Kirk by my side. He is going as soon as I do!

I spoke to my recruiter today and got my bus ticket info and a packing list. I leave Sunday morning and arrive Monday afternoon in Springfield. I have been studying the MO CDL booklet so that should really help out. Next week at this time I should be in MO preparing to start!!!
