The 12 volt powerport on the passenger side quit working.
Was fine this am. Only had a small fan plugged in.
I see in the fuse box on the dash a 60 amp fuse marked sleeper (its fine)
and one behind it (unmarked) a 40 amp. It appears fine.
So bunk port ok, driver side port ok.
Passenger side port quit working.
Where/how is that fuse labeled?
What to do??

Is there a secondary fuse panel in the back of the cab for the power ports?
-
OK....
Behind the drivers' seatbelt strap is a panel.
You need a large flathead screwdriver to turn the latch, just above the grab bar.
Inside is a black, plastic fuse box.
They are labeled as
'rh recp', 'lh recp' and 'bnk recp' or some such and take the mini 15 amp fuses.
Hope that saves someone the 2 hr's it took me to find the secondary fuse box.
Rotten Thanks this. -
If that's the power port that is in the "tv area", I had a lot of problems there too. 1st, the fuse is where Capt Hook said. 2nd, I swapped it out and blew the fuse 3 days later. The problem was the 12v recipticle itself. Swapped it out for a fresh one from the parts counter and problem went bye-bye.
I used mine for a 12v coffee pot. Make sure to unplug from that one while rolling. For some reason, that plug always seemed to weaken/fail quicker than the others (no matter what I plugged into it). -
Yup, the 'tv' port.
And I also have a 12 volt coffee maker (and fan).
I want both of them in that area and got tired of switching them out of the port.
So..... I got a 12 volt 2-way splitter. $8 at the TA.
Turns out its junk.
Plugging just the splitter in without anything attached and *zap*.
Guess I'll stick with switching them back and forth.
(Also tried it in the bunk port so I needed *two* fuses D'oh!) -
I learned all this the hard way myself, I have a columbia as well. Use the front plug for all your heavy duty uses like coffee pots, stoves, etc. The bunk and tv spot are only good for things like cell phone chargers and fans. The shop will fix it for you.
capthook Thanks this.
