Pick~up truck and semi crash on I~77 OHIO

    Agreed, and with that knowledge that almost all wrecks involving a big truck are poorly reported, why did folks need to argue? Just makes no sense, arguing for the sake of arguing.

    Unless they have started building Freightliners out of tank armor that truck was not involved in the wreck. Looks like he came up after it happened.

    Well, heck, if the dispatcher said it, it must be right. I called out a load planner at Total who I overheard say that a team that was 790 miles out could make it to Olive Branch in 12 hours. Although it wasn't my conversation... I had to ask "where you do you dispatchers and load planners get your calculators, because I want one"...

    65 mph trucks puts the trip at 12.15 hours, IF the pedal was taped to the floor, the doors never opened, they never hit traffic or any speed limit less than 65...

    I told then it was no wonder things get screwed up with loads when you actually think a 65 mph truck can maintain a steady 65 mph average... even when my wife and I drove a 74 mph truck, with minimal stops and doing freeways between Oklahoma and Socal.. we averaged around 62-63.
