    there's a lot more old steel than aluminum trailers still on the road. mine is a "78" model.

    um.........ok. All this proves is there's no shortage of guys too cheap to upgrade.

    There are still houses around without indoor plumbing........does that make out houses better?:biggrin_25522:


    On a side note I did see my first Transcraft that might not crack and ironically it's also the only one I've see that didn't sag. To do it all you need to do is cut the suspension and kingpin plate off. Weld a 3/4" thick strap to the bottom of each main rail while arching the crap out of it. Then re-install the plate and suspension. For a measly $6k you can get a steel flat that will hold what a 80k Mac flat will off the lot.:biggrin_2559:
