Lawrence Transportation (Winona/Rochester, MN) or Earl Bonsack (La Crosse, WI)

well, have never heard anything bad if that helps.

lawrence has maybe 200 or so trucks if i remember right, terminals in winona and rochester.

Bonsack I think hauls lots of beer out of the brewery in La crosse, also does some midwest regional stuff for Pepsi (or used to)

 

can anyone tell me anything about lawrence? I live 2 miles away for Christ's sake and know almost nothing about them...

 

i hear they are pretty good. how long have you been driving for?

 

what all have you heard about Lawrence?

 

I'd also like to know what have you heard about them? I have 7 yrs exp but been out of a truck for about a year. They are willing to work with me though. I'm thinking of doing their regional out of Rochester, all trucks are Flat top Volvo 430s or soon to be, but being gone 4 days or less a small sleeper wont bother me too much.

 

lawrence would be a good choice and bonsack a bad one.

Lawrence seemed well run with very good dispatching when I was there. I can't say the same for Bonsack. A long time Bonsack driver said very emphatically that they (Bonsack) will do the most idiotic, stupid things you can imagine. I found that to be true.
