glad to know you got your settlements! A buddy and I are still waiting and its been
3-3 1/2 years and we are still waiting after they claimed bankruptcy!! have gotten 3 checks so far. the 2nd which bounced!! $80 a piece.

 

I just quite hoosier trade winds flat bed division.This company is a joke and you will not get paid so dont waster your time working for them.I have so much to say and nothing good to say,at all.I worked 3 weeks first week picking up abanden equiptment and then running flatbed loads.Flatbeds is new for them and they do have the miles.I worked 3 weeks paid the tolls out of my pocket and had to force them to pay me my first check which was a week late and they tryied to charge me 4 a late load but I refused to move the load untill they paid me my first weeks pay,they paid it and I quite sti8ll waiting on 2 more weeks pay at about $1400.00.There fuel program is bull #### and ur always on empty and even running out.Do not go here for employment unless u like to pay to work some where.If any one wants to know what I went through feel free to email me,sorry the site wont let me leave my email address in.
I have so much to say and the best advice is to stay away,they will go bancrupt again its just a matter of time.I have already contacted the Indiana dept of labor and there phone number is (317)232-2655 I'm sure many will need this number and the dept of labor has several claims for Tradewinds.Feel free to contact me with any questions but unless ur rich and don't need money than Trade winds is the company for u.good luck

 

6 years you worked for them,thats great you must work in the office or in the garage cause thats the only ppl who get paid there.Dame I hate bull ########.

You My Friend are a lying sack of S$#%....I worked there and know the people who own and run it very well!! The Owners are decent Christain people and they mean well,BUT, they let a guy name Matt run the show for some reason or another and he is the lowest form of human life...He is the one rippin everybody off and he is the one who will end up closing Tradewinds for good. I watched a lot of good people go down the tubes because of Tradewinds and as long as they have Matt running the show.....DO NOT ever trust this company!
Now if my guess is correct again, this is probably Matt here posing as "Baker's Dozen"....Now get this straight Boy, I will be around for a long, long time and won't let you make your fortune off other people's back! Your free ride has went on way to long as it is.....Did you tell this forum how you listed 25 owner/operators on your bankrupcy and caused half of them to loose their trucks??? Did you tell them how you named 88 company drivers as well so they didn't get paid as well ???? Come on Boy! Spit out the TRUTH (if you even know the meaning of the word) and tell them what the company is really like as long as you are pulling the strings!!!

 

I worked six months. I liked the loads and stayed busy at first But then checks bounced one after the other . Was lied to too many times. I had too also shut the truck down for ten days to get paid. The owners may think they are good people but they know whats going on and they should be ashamed of themselves. Does not matter how many Sundays they are in church or how many Bible verses they puy on their trucks.
They purposely try too use the drivers work to fund their business.
I think theres too many hands in the till because you stay busy. One load after the other . Also 40 gal of fuel at a time. Took me a month to get final two pay checks. Really disgraceful company. I understand cash flow problems but to hire new drivers when you know you cant pay them regularly is really sick and very damaging too most drivers.

 

Crazy to me that people are still getting suckered into working for this company when you Google them and a milion bad responses pop up with their website. This company sucked when I was there and I am positive their days are numbered if they continue to treat ALL their workers this way. They still can't be doing too well, don't see a whole lot of trucks going down the road for them and the ones I do see don't look very well kept. Didn't figure they had changed their pay methods much. Don't feel too sorry for anyone that signs with them now though with all the info that is on here and Ripoff Report and I am sure other places now. Hell there's 7 pages on this thread alone and 2 other threads on here as well. Last I checked there were like 5 or 6 Ripoff Reports as well. The info is there and this many people are not wrong. I experienced it firsthand and took it a lot longer than most would have. Stay away and go elsewhere, unless you like being stressed out about money and arguing with Matt. In that case this company is for you.

 

Do not apply to this company they are full of #### and screw all of there drivers.To many good companies out there that will pay you for your hard work this is not one of them.Bring your vasoline cause they will #### you.

 

Your right the trucks are a heap of scrap metal and they will never up grade and the grarage staff said they will rebuild them for ever,well at least some one gets paid there.They have a face book page and I left several comments on there yesterday and of cource today they were all erased.LOL what a joke and the only ones commenting here is office staff.I bet they wish they could erase these.They don't know how to run a bussiness and I'm still waiting to get paid.Its just a matter of time before they screw the wrong driver and get there rig parked inside there office,U think they will post that pic.Counting how many days it takes to get paid.I'll post every day till i get paid.

Speaking of the monies everyone is owed...somehow, some secret way they have to be putting a bunch away for a "rainy" day...
How can you continue to have bounced checks, monies not paid for taxes, drivers child support not getting paid...SHALL I GO ON??????????
They owe so many people, not to mention all of the banks, and other companies....HOW DO YOU GUYS SLEEP? Can someone ask Ben or Brian that? NO BALLS
