I've watched this crane (the kind with pulleys, not the kind with feathers) circle around several times. He drives down the street a bit, turns around, drives back to the fireworks shed across the street, turns around....well, I know he can't be after anything I have. Just read the side of my wagon and you'll know I have nothing of interest. I have my air brake set and am backed to a slightly downhill curb, so I won't be needing his services. Maybe he's waiting for that bullhauler high-idling next to me to step out of his truck. With a little work and a paint job, that old 379 might look pretty good. The driver has managed to keep the body nice and straight.

I wish Massachusetts had places with cool names like that, rather than the British influences everything is named after in this state.

Just coming off one of those. I had put in for hometime but instead got a plan that gave me a couple of days at home while dispatched. Plenty of time to get to the final. I didn't get as much home time as I wanted but this is a good load for east coast Swifties (about 1700 miles with the deadhead included).
I actually think this happened by design. My DM or a planner or both were on the ball! :yes2557:

lancaster terminal. i had a preplan to get me to phoenix through the weekend but a blown trailer tire and 4 hours waiting for roadside screwed up the timing and they yanked the preplan. i'm afraid i might end up stuck here for the weekend instead of heading home (already 3 days late).

Cloverdale, IN. Wanted to drop tomorrow night, will be just over the 11 hour for the day, so will have to decide tomorrow, find a place in PA before Allentown, or take a chance and find place at the TA just over the line
