I was wondering if you can show some pics of your setup?
I am also considering a Cobra, but my work will have me in different trucks every day, and wonder if I can still do the visor mount that Michael has.
OUTSTANDING Thread btw...
Also for you guys who can't see your right front fender because of the size of this unit because it sits on your dash or winsheild? I took mine apart and put it on my sunvisor. I used 2 large thin black ties to hold it to the sunvisor, it's snug and looks good. I bought an extension plug and ran the wires under my dash and out of sight......If I could post a picture I would....Can we post here?

I am not the best with electronic equipment so I may be missing some small step but I cannot figure out how to put in my destination for the GPS to route me...can you help...Thanks
-
I don't see that by running the route. From Derry it turns right onto Maritz and then to the destination. I am using a 3 axle tractor, 2 axle trailer with all the default settings. I'll give it to our engineers and they can actually simulate driving the route and see if this issue occurs.

There is a separate thread for the 7750. I will post the answer there. Click <here> to go to the 7750 thread.

Brian, My unit has also locked several times.
I've also had a few address problems. (Not the 20 mile types)
Twice the unit told me to make a u-turn on a divided hwy, When I (Safely) did so, it told me to make another u-turn going back the direction I was originally going. Did not think it was funny at the time.

In my experience, the software update has cured about 95% of the lockups that I was personally experiencing before I installed the update. Obviously, a big improvement.
However, mine has locked up about a half dozen times since January. The few lockups I get now seem to be because I'm pushing command buttons faster than the machine has time to process the command it's working on. While that's still a big improvement, the problem could probably be eliminated completely by fixing the buffer that requested commands are stored in prior to execution (hint: Windows used to have the same problem). -
Please provide the starting location and the destination location, and where this occurred. We can then run the route to see what happened.

Thank you for the heads-up.
