Moleculo posted that filter build courtesy of Beetle and Jim KB1MVX.

Scrounge up the parts and it takes about a half hour to put it together. Works like a charm.

I really appreciate all your help, questions, and suggestions but I have decided that having that radio in my current truck is just too much. All of your replies have made me think outside my normal area and I think I have decided that the radio itself is pulling enough voltage out of the system when keyed and causing issues and the power output is causing others. I just re-installed my Stryker and it is just fine. Plus, I don't REALLY need that much radio in my truck. I don't talk skip and its just not that important to worry about (had to put on my big boy pants and think like a mature adult about that one. That was hard! LOL!!). I may try it in my next truck, coming soon I hope.
