As a D-seat, you're not expected to know anything - by definition. You could get a bit ahead of the game by getting your CDL permit in MD before you go. They'll honor it in MO, and you'll have some of the first week stress taken off not having to cram for the written test once you're there. If you do this, you'll most likely need the hard copy of the permit, not just a paper temporary - check with recruiting to be sure!
