lmao....i am not saying it is anybodys fault i am saying that maverick sucks for doing him that way,and the reason they are steadily hiring drivers(if thats what you want to call them) is because they have a huge turnover rate making it necessary to continually hire people to put behind the wheel, that maverick yard sure is full of trucks, and from where i am standing a yard full of trucks means high turnover, not to mention speaking with some of their oldest drivers.

High turnover...yes, but its way lower than most other companies. Yard full of trucks...they just received 500 brand new ones (takes time to get drivers switched out, I hope one of them is mine)
I'm done...you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. -
you sound like two supertruckers on the cb. give it up.
-
How does what I said qualify me to be a supertrucker...I always wanted to be one of those

Its good to know I finally made it...it took me long enough.
-
lmao...........you are right lol i just noticed that -
Didn't they sell the glass division to Schneider back some years ago
Then had to take it back or vice versa
Any how ...
I think maverick has allot of irons in the fire and if you can't make it I think you can try the other division(s) ( meaning Reefers & Pneumatics ) they have three means for a driver to make money there
Flat , Reefer , Pneumatics ,
So I would assume they have a income potential to a driver wanting to work
But I never worked there, nor do I have a buddy that does either
So what do I know !!!
-
Kinda my thoughts too
-
No...Maverick bought the glass division from Schneider.
-
And I'm not trying to be a supertrucker...I'm just trying to shed a little light on why and how this stuff happens.
I know, I know...anytime a driver claims to know a little about something he is a "supertrucker"...thing is, thats not always the case. -
I turned in a 2 week notice and it was no problem. I told them I need to get by the house to unload stuff. No problem. They got me a delivery in NLR about 1800 or so. I said after I kick this off can I stay in the yard till morning. They said no problem we will take you to the bus station. They even paid the ticket. Told me if I ever want to come back to give them a call. Have gotten cards asking me if I want to come back. Was no problem at all. They treated me very nice all the way till the end.
