hi all, im going to buy some of the CAT leave in cleaner (radiator/coolant) but have a question, 1 half gallon bottle treats 8 gallons, my system holds 9 gallons, will 1 bottle work or should i buy 2 bottles and add the extra ?? :biggrin_2554:

also someone at a time mentioned leaving it in for 30 days, can anyone give advice on time frame to leave in also please.:biggrin_255:

sorry 1 more question - what is the process to use this stuff - do I just drain some coolant and then add some CAT cleaner?
or do i also need to change coolant filters a few time during the treatment?

please help, I just want to get it correct the first time.

Cat 30 day flush= add your one bottle of cleaner to distilled water do not run this flush longer than 30 days I have seen where the flush attacks gaskets material after 90 days but does an excellent job of removing calcium deposit inside the radiator it seems to work better hot.I have also installed the flush to antifreeze but I know it does a better job with distilled water. When 30 days is up I still use distilled water to flush with then add cat antifreeze.

    AUSSIE DAVE Thanks this.
