Hello All,
I'm doing some research to try to find out what kind of tools you all use the most.
I need to know what tools you use the most. Do you use or have a need for tools like sockets, wrenches, ratchets, etc. What are the sizes and drive sizes that you most commonly need? Do you use the open end or box end of the wrench the most? Do you use ratcheting wrenches? Do you prefer 6 or 12 point sockets and wrenches?
Any insight you can give me would be great and very much appreciated!
Thanks,

Do you mostly use 1/2" drive sockets and the larger size wrenches? -
That's a really broad question. At some point, depending on how deep you get into working on your truck, you use just about every tool you have. 1/2" drives are probably the most common ones to use, but I also use 3/8" drive quite a bit, 1/4" drive on interior stuff or some small exterior fasteners. 3/4" drives are also used a lot, and of course 1" drives with impact for wheels. You can never have too many wrenches, a lot of things require using 2 of the same size wrench at the same time. Ratcheting wrenches and gear wrenches are great. But I only carry the basic stuff in the truck with me, everything else stays at the shop.

Well said. Definitely agree with the ratcheting and gear wenches. I use them all the time
