HELENA, Mont. - If a record-breaking heat wave doesn’t lift soon, cattle rancher Sharon McDonald may see her hay crop turn to dust.
Oppressive temperatures eased a bit in some parts of the West, but McDonald’s central Montana ranch baked under triple-digit heat. Forecasters reported little relief in the days ahead, saying the weather system that brought the high temperatures could last well into next week.

WOW, that is unreal, I used to live in Belgrade, MT and they said it was 107 degrees today...I've never heard it ever being that high there...global warming? Weird.

nah...theres no such thing as global warming

its those pesky ex-californians tryin to warm up my home state

my wife says the heat is killing her garden and lawn, the dogs, duck and geese will not stay outta the pool, the chickens and turkeys come into the air conditioned house and the horses wont leave the barn..... the only animals we have that are normal are her two sheep and they stay in the back yard ( my wife thinks she still lives on a ranch for some reason)

the weather has been awfully hot very early in the year, doesnt bode well for fire season, i wonder if i should buy a tanker?
