Thanks celticwolf. What about job history? I have been at my current job for over 10 yrs but on my resume the dates of my jobs before that are if-ee at best. Do they check every date on your resume and every employer? My background (security) check and driving record are spotless.
    Thanks :)

They only check your last three years of employment.. dates aren't an issue, but id you told them you quit and they find out you were fired you wasted a bus ride..

CW is 100% right. Don't lie, they have former cops and state police working for them and they can find out anything. Some guys think they are safe after the first week but get kicked out later because CRS just keeps digging till they find what's hidden out there.

If you use drugs don't show up!!! We had guys pop positive on the UA's....WHY??? if you know you are using why waste that horrible bus ride out there just to turn around and get right back on it again and go home!!

Some meds may limit your DOT physical length...I am on blood pressure meds and that means I only get a one year DOT physical so be aware of that.

Be honest and up front...they can actually work with a lot of stuff on your background but you gotta tell them up front and if they can't then at least you didn't waste your time coming to orientation.

Cool deal....yeah I am getting pretty excited, it's been awhile since I have been behind the wheel, had my CDL in '95 and drove OTR and local.

Be Nice Chompi. Actually some people actually like the school which is Premier based and goes into local colleges etc. If CRE but could be Central Refrig. The school may be OK actually but then paying it back (3 years etc, etc) and pay. Could pay for school and they have like bargains on that, get CDL and some of the major newbie players might pick up on you. Some people actually had a positive experience but then they went with a dedicated carrier. School to me seems OK but not sure I would want the after the fact. Thanks for the post as it made me laugh. Though it is true. Be Well and Take Care. Thanks a lot

Here is a pic of when I got snowed in at the ND border and when I went into the caves in Springfield, MO. I got freaked out a little that I had to drive into the cave to pickup my load and it was actually quite an amazing place to drive a big rig. It makes me wonder what else might be down there (insert Gov conspiracy here).
