Hendrickson Trucking

Hendrickson primary runs the western 7 in addition to Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico and Texas. I have yet to see them but know a couple members on here drive for them.

If its the one in Sacramento, they are here mostly in the negative
forum. I called them a couple of years ago and was NOT impressed
by their recruiting(?) dept. Extremely poor attitudes from all i talked to.

 

Hendrickson is one of the companies that drivers on their last possible chance go to...stay clear...no miles, don't care about their driver's...but if you like to sit in Denver or Albuquerque for 3-5 days at a stretch...knock your socks off!

Absolutely, man I wish I had seen all this before we bought into their BS. The whole company is a total joke. In addition they're dispatchers and trip planners must have been hired straight from the McDonald's drive through window. And this is NO exaggeration! My hubby was stuck somewhere in BFE, Oregon for 3 days because the dispatcher that worked Friday and was responsible for sending him his load was too lazy to send it to him before she left. Upon calling her to find out what happened, he came to find that she was at home and had woken her up from her beauty sleep, and she went on to complain about what a horrible day she had, that she was sorry, but since that load was supposed to be picked up 4 hrs earlier when she was supposed to send it, they had nothing else for him until Monday. Just one of MANY horror stories. Now trapped in WA for 5 days going on the 6th. TOTAL SCAM!!!

 

I walked away from Hendrickson Trucking. Since it is walk away deal. now I am working for small company, that runs from CA to NJ and back.

 

I'm a dispatcher, been trying to get into logistics dispatch for the last few months, tough stuff. It seems to me that unless you are McDonald's quality (by that I mean no brains) you can't get in. If you actually use your brain, then good luck getting into any kind of trucking dispatch. They only want idiots.
Maybe I should dye my hair blonde & wear a mini skirt into the next interview I go to. Swift would probably LOVE me then! God forbid you actually want to do a good job.

 

I experienced first hand, the LIES, MANIPULATION AND BEING TREATED WITH DISRESPECT. Hendrickson trucking has the attitude that you (a truck driver) are expendable.
Hendrickson Recruiters talk a great lie, telling class after class that they have all kinds of freight and you can get all kinds of miles, the truth is, you are expected to wait around for the dispatch people to get you a load, then give up 2 hours loading, then drive like hell and wait to to a drop and hook with another driver coming south from Oregon or sit out on I-15 waiting for a truck coming in from Las Vegas to do a drop and hook.
Look time is money, if you're sitting around not driving your not making any money! With Hendrickson your NOT DRIVING MUCH AND YOUR SITTING, A LOT!!!

This is a company that is in serious trouble!!!
