Most common tools I use-
A 3 pound hammer for lining things up, and loosening stuck slider pins.
Channel locks, all sizes.
A straightened coat hanger, for when I drop s*** under the truck.
A 5 gallon bucket for catching fluids, or I can flip it over and use it as a stool. And with some Wal-mart shopping bags, it works as an emergency porta-potty.
An air hose with a quick connect that hooks directly to the tank, hose is long enough to reach the tandems.
A full assortment of brass compression fittings, 3/8" and 1/4" (especially unions), plus 2 sets of open end wrenches that fit the fittings.
What are the most common tools you use?

OK, not to try to sound like "Slick Willy" here, but it depends on what your definition of "is" is.
How do you define what you mean by "tools."
Let's face it, just about everything we use, is a tool. Our cell phones are tools. Our log books are tools. Our CB radios are tools. And don't forget our tire gauges. If these are not one of the most used tools we have, they certainly should be.
The tire thumper (aka lumper thumper) is a tool. So is the 5th wheel release bar (aka back scratcher.) -
The tools I use the most are 1/2 chains and rachet binders!
The 2nd most used tool is my fifth weel pin puller ( my trusty and rusty, happy unhooker, that was the name on it when I bought it I swear!)
3rd is my 3lb hammer, I use it on my deck lock and neck pins. -
Definitely a multi-purpose tool! Always take a blank logbook with you when stopping at poorly maintained rest areas. 9 times out of 10, you'll notice the roll is missing just as you sit down.

your missing your hammer

Nah...they're in there (somewhere under the sockets, wrenches, etc...). Got a rubber mallet w/ a 'custom' 36" sledgehammer handle, a 16 oz claw hammer, a 24 oz framing hammer, and a 4 lb mini-sledge. -
In the truck i have 2 x 1/2 inch socket sets, a 3/8 socket set, 2 x open end -box spanner sets, a set of rachet spannners open end box, rubber mallet, 3lb hammer, air hose and air tools - grinder, drill, air blower, tyre inflater, rattle gun. screw drivers, zip ties, insulation tape, plumbers tape, plies, vise grips, tape, box knife, loctite, thread sealer, gasket silicon, electrical wire, fuses, torch, work light, degreaser, wd40, rags, gloves, hand cleaner, water, cheater bar, window cleaner, micro cloth for quickly cleaning mirrrors, 2 x shifters, lots of bolts nuts and washers, etc. but my 3/4 drive tools stay at home.

It's so obvious........ your tire pressure gauge! If not, it should be.
Flat bed equipment is specialized so I won't count my winch bar.
