The more you bring, the more you have to lug on the bus and around here. I am waiting until I get ready to leave to buy that stuff
-
yeah I think thats what i will do also i thought about a suitcase but thats to much so i have a back pack well it's one that i used for camping with the family lol that thing holds alot of ##$# and its small enough to put just about any where plus if I remember the last time I was on a bus you were able to carry it on with you not sure if they still allow that

There's a Wal-Mart within walking distance of the hotel and a few of us just picked one up from there, so holding off is just fine. I ended up having to leave and then comeback so I had to travel with it which wasn't bad either. My suitcase went under the bus, shoulder bag and sleeping bag in the overhead bins, plenty of room.

Your recriuter will send you an email about what to bring and what not to bring. Bring at least a weeks worth of clothing. I still have the email from my recruiter if ya need it
BBradUMA Thanks this. -
I have the email and it says to bring sleeping bag and pillow but i think i will purchase those things out there rather than lugging around and if walmart is in walking distance then that wont be a problem

I am curious about two things.
1) What is the difference between D, C, B, and A seats?
2) What is an "integrity" interview? -
A-Seat: 8 months current OTR.
B1-Seat: 5-6 months expirence (will need to team with a trainer for 20,000 combined miles.)
B2-Seat: 3-4 months experience (will need to run 2nd seat for 40,000 combined miles)
R-Seat: +1 year of exprience more than 2 years ago (must take refresher program, and then goes B2.)
B-Seat: New graduate within last 45 days (must run 5 weeks with trainer, then goes B2)
D-Seat: No experience (4 weeks with instructor and then goes B2.)
As far as the interview, ours were pretty brief. They asked why I wanted to be a truck driver and then pulled up my information on a screen and asked questions on anything that didn't match what was on my application. Mine lasted maybe 10mins, some others alot longer. -
Thank you 18wheelsofsteel
