Dont do drugs then try to take the drug test lol Also make sure you have your certified birth certificate copy/passport BEFORE you come. Get your work history for the last 5yrs ready, 10 if you were driving. Listen to everything you are told. Ask about anything you do not understand. Also, download a copy of the MO CDL manual if you wont have your permit before you come. You only get parts of 2 days to study. Take as many practice tests as you can before you come.... All I got for now

Stay away from alcohol too... that's a good way to get cut from the training program anywhere from orientation until you get your A-seat rating.

Exactly. There were a few more gone today. Slowly widling it down

Got my CDL Learners permit!!! Was on the simulator today. I can upshift decently, but having trouble downshifting. Going to go back tommorow when I can. A lot to do tommorow. Time to rest now.

How many question are on the permit test? I think I'm going to take mine before I get to MO.

I am probably going to get my CDL permit beforehand as well. This way I can train on the sim as the other guys study study study. This way I can get as much shifting practice and other things on the pad..... I think it just will go a long way rather than get the permit there. That is if everything works accordingly. We will see.

Aight let me take this 1 question at a time...
Not sure why they were sent home, another left today, but the one who failed the DT is DONE in the trucking industry, or most any job. NO ALCHOHOL IS TO BE CONSUMED DURING TRAINING!!! They will send your #$$ home at your expense, and you have to figure out how to get home. Honestly not sure how many are left.... A few of us kind of formed a "group" so we do just about everything together. I have not been in a real truck yet, so I cannot draw a comparison... but I will say that all it is for is to practice shifting. You cannot feel anything on this sim... I was told many times by many people that it is completely different.
If IF I remember right it was: 50 questions on the general knowledge, 20 on the airbrakes, and 25 on the combination. I was TOLD you had to have at least a 75 to pass. But I am not sure, I passed the 1st time all in the 90s...
Getting your permit before you come is best if you can.HB_from_SC Thanks this. -
Aight... Update Yall.
I got my instructor today!!!! Leaving out sunday. Got to drive on the shifting range. Did pretty good I think. Didnt hit anything, didnt stall out. Did roll back 1 time, but thats it.
