    To all those interested in freight rates:

    The trucking industry in the U.S. is part of the free market system. As long as it remains that way, rates will be based on SUPPLY and DEMAND. That is why rates are quite low when there are many, many more trucks in an area than freight that needs to be moved. ALL facets of making money in trucking are worked within this major, over riding principal of supply and demand.     The more pure and unadulterated and unregulated that system is allowed to be, the more money will be made. Things will always be "what the market can bear." It seems that these very simple facts are lost to so many.

    Mine is the 70" but my brothers is the cab/sleeper seperate style and after unbolting the seat redrilling holes and moving it back a few inches it still has plenty of leg room.

    How do you like the clutch in that thing with a bad knee? My 2400 ft lb clutch is still easier to push...lol

    How do you all get your trucks so light?

    Maybe I'm not fully awake... maybe I didn't sleep well enough last night... but this sounds snarky to me.

    We all pretty much understand the supply and demand thing. It can still be manipulated. If so many weren't running around with no money in the bank more could afford to DH out of an area that isn't paying. More could afford to sit and wait. Whatever works. Supply and demand doesn't mean you HAVE to run cheap. We don't, why can't others? So don't tell me about what the market can bear.... JUST DON'T HAUL CHEAP!
