Phone is paid for with the savings from this app. GPS. Are you at the truck stop and looking for wal mart ? It'll gps you there. Listen to the radio without advertisements-music-free. Preaching broadcasting - if you into it. If not, you should be. There is

I pay the same for my air card as you do to have the privelage to have a smartphone.... And with my air card, I can yack on the phone at the same time as well.

My current GPS tells my all the truck stops that I'm near... Pilot, Flying J, Wilco, Loves, TA, Petro, Sapps, even mom & pop locations.

    No monthly subcription fees.

I have a digita camera for that & a screamin' meanie alarm that I paid $20 for 9 years ago.

I just look at the price tag

My GPS will get me there as well. along with a post office, mall, amusement park, theater, repair shop, bank, eatery, & even a liquor store!

I've got XM for that! And it is much louder from the truck speakers then a phone speaker. Plus, I ain't eating up the memory of my phone.

oh boy.... Here goes the bible thumping!

Yep! What you pay monthly is much more then what I pay monthly for the same services.... Just from different venues!

Did I mention that it is all in one phone and not in a lot of other hardware appliances. iPhone connects to my radio for the louder experience. I can look on i40 in tx, while in the diff state and truck stops pop up and how many miles from ur current location. Iphone's memory is not used for the radio. All in all, You can have few items or one. No wires but 1, will do everything you need it to do for the exception to print, unless the printer is close to it than it can print too.

what happens when you are in an area without phone service, or in Canada? Satellite radio and standalone GPS still work just fine. I definitely watch my phone usage across the border, and don't turn data on unless an emergency. Possibly you are in a more regional operation and this doesn't apply.

And at the same time advocating/encouraging theft of service by hacking the phone. Okay to steal from others, but don't cheat the truck drivers, right? Which book/chapter/verse was that in ?

Gps works regardless of the availably on the reception side. Data will drop b4 reception drops. The only drawback is the radio will stop if there is no data service .

New government ruling allows iPhone users to jailbrake their phones. Now, jailbroken phones can do what ever the user wants to do, legal, even though, carriers may tell you that you have to pay for that service extra, as long as your phone has internet / data an on it, it can be used to wifi any device that can be connected. I've taken my jailbroken phone to the carrier and they said that the warranty has been voided, like I care - phone already made me more money then I paid for it. Even though, my data usage is through the roof, the carrier can not do anything, because the phone has the data plan on it.
