    Hello Everyone,

Well the truck is out of KW now. They had to replace the Voltage Sensor switch. All is good. Now have to get a new DM. She and I are just not on the same page. I mentioned something today after getting another preplan, and said that it was crap for a L/O, and she actually asked what a L/O was. After sitting 2 days, I had a pplan sent this morning to pu at 1300. By the time that I was able to get back to the truck, they removed it, and sent another one that picks up at 1900 now. All the way to St. Joseph for tomorrow afternoon. I asked her to put in the remarks section that I want to stay off the East Coast as much as possible, and she stated that she can not put that in. I "will go where the freight dictates". I really think that she thinks that I am still a company driver. She is just not watching my truck. Lets the planners handle it. Going to talk to the FM in the morning.

Last week when they tried to get me to do local in New Jersey, then they gave me a load to Indy, mt, then reload right back to NJ. I made a mistake on my ldd call, and she set my PTA for 1 day earlier then I was going to be mt.

Well, thanks for letting me vent. Still another 5 hours before I can show up at the shipper. They said that I can come in early, but really doubt that I will load early. That is why they have appts.

Everyone, be safe and take care.

My FM works on Saturday. He is Tues-Sat. But I will be calling him. Have fun in Columbus Inun. I am hearing that there is no freight there, which I seriously doubt.

Talking with a O/O friend at Landstar. Rates are in the toilet and scarce. He was loading out of OH 2 days ago. Run used to pay $1411. Now pays $1114

    Hello Everyone,

Well home now for a 34 hour, then off to Texas and New Mexico for Wednesday delivery. Well had a nice talk to my FM on Saturday and he looked at what was going on as far as my troubles. and on Tuesday, I had a new DM. He stated that there where some problems. Now my new DM, he just handles the O/O out of Columbus. He stated that he will be keeping me off the East Coast because he knows that you once we get there, he looses us for a little time since the planners like to keep us there. Now I am running long and West.

Since I am home on a 34 and getting miles, even had him change my home time from next Friday until 1 week later, especially since I am out west.

So you can see, things can change if you are having problems. Just a nice and polite conversation. Yesterday received a message from our Safety person that handles the logs, and we were told, get to QC class if we have the new one, or read the Tutorial on the QC, because even if we do not attend the class, we will be getting switched over very soon. Now trying to find out if that also mean the O/O.

Everyone, be safe and take care.

There is something that I forgot to post, and that is regarding a msg that I received the other day. It was from someone that I have no idea, and it was a few days after my truck in was in KW. they had to have my part shipped overnight, and I was told that it was going to be $55 plus tax. Well this week, I received a msg that $88 was being deducted from my escrow acct, and I asked why, and was told, $30 for a mark up fee. I have been asking since, and can not get a answer as to why, mark up fee for a shipping charge. I paid for the overnight fee, and can not even get a copy of paperwork. KW told me that everything was sent to Swift. Still trying to get a copy. Need for taxes. Still, what the Hell is this mark up fee. Does this mean that if I have a B service on the road, what I pay them, then Swift is going to charge me more. If so, out comes the credit card. Hope that Injun and Scottie can answer,

I wonder if you can pull out your DEBIT card and pay for work at KW and turn the receipt and get the money from your maintenance account?

    BTW is that a studio?
