Chains/Binders - good source?

    Of course, (my background in towing), tow trucks only use 2... and the only time you replace one is when a moron loses one, or drags the end off after it becomes unsecure while driving. Also, they use chains with special ends, not just standard chains with hooks... I'll go back to reading now.

    Right on REDD. I bought a complete setup a while back off EBAY for 600.00, Almost new headache rack and all. Had to drive 100 miles. I didnt even need it, sold it for 1100.00. :biggrin_25525:

    Dino hit it on the money, Find a local rigging/sling place in your area, google it and shop around LOCALLY in your area, I prefer to see the merchandise personally to know what Im getting. I prefer the LEBUS binders.

    All of the stuff at KW is G70, so unless I find something used - I think the price at KW is actually pretty good. Plus no shipping charges..

    Don't chintz on 5/16" get 3/8". 5/16" is for ladies! 1/2" if your trailer has 10K lb WWL anchor points and your gonna haul a lot of coils.

    You might consider a drum of 200 ft. and then buy 20 hooks separately.
