So I took my time gettimg up to Saco, ME and still showed up like 2 hours early. Had to wait on the guy in the dock, then they unloaded me. Sned in my empty and available and head to the closest travel plaza (11 miles south) and wait. I go in and eat, get baack in the truck and wait a little more, then BEEP, BROKER LOAD, got to go 51 miles north of Saco to Auburn, ME and load.

APPT is 1500 - 1600 get there like 1545, Slide the tandums all the way back and sweep out the trailer. get loaded with rolls of papper, slide tandums back to 41', call broaker to let them know i'm loaded and ask about appt. they say dispatch will let me know.

I head over to a little "truck stop" and scale it out, i'm 120 over on drives. So now I fight with the tandums for 2 hours to move 1 hole (1 pin did not want to pull), decided to just stay there for the night. Get up early and head to Lindin, NJ. Get to reciever about 1230 and he asked if i was his 1400 appt, told him I never got an appt time. He said theey are at lunck till 1300, but go ahead and put it in the dock, about 1330 they start unloading and it takes about 40 minutes. send in MT and about 2 minutes later, BEEP, call broker. Got load from Allentown, PA to Hope Mills, NC.

Appt in Allentown is 1530 Wed, I asked if they could change it as I could make it on Tue. They said they would try. I get to Allentown and bark at a PSO truck stop, call broker and they said, just show up in the morning and they will probably load you. So I eat and go to bed, get up and head over to reciever at 0800 and get in a dock by 0900.

About 0930 I'm loaded and pull out of the INSIDE DOCK, the right trailer door decided it liked the wharehouse and jumped off the trailer. I took pictures, then call the shop and safety. Safety didn't seem over concerned, but the shop was having a fit. They tell me who to call, and nobody can get to me today, but call such and such. call the shop and tell them, he said call them, finally get sombody that says they can do it anout 1100, they didn't show up till 1500. I called the broker and told them I was in the shop and would not make appt, they said call when i got rolling and they would chane appt.

get to the shop and they got to get the parts TOMOROW.

Thursday broker calls and ask if i'm going to make my 1600 appt, said I didn't know anything about 1600 and he said since I picked up early they changed appt. so I told him I was in the shop and would not make it. he asked when, told him anytime Friday, he said let him know when I leave. They finnaly get done and the office lady goes to lunch. she gets back and gives me the invoice, i call the shop BUSY, took like 30 minutes to get through, get PO# and t check #, go to pay and broker calls again. Told them I was going to pay, then I would be on the road. they said 0800 appt Friday. I pay and roll.

Get to Wal-Mart in Hope Mills, NC at 0755, They say my appt is 0930, but they go ahead and unload me, I'm out of there by 0900. go to get fuel and send in my MT. (didn't have hours to fuel and make appt). fet a qc to call local, he said head over to Thomasville and call back. Get to Thomasville and call, he says go in and see such and such. 3 of the local guys were there, one getting ready to leave, they gave me his load. So I drop my MT, hook and head to Conover. Get to Conover and drop trailer and park.

Go inside and talk to Tim and RL, get my new camera, and go see Steve. As soon as I get to his window, he hands me a stack of bills, I said "yo da man", then read them and said "you suck", He said that's funny how quick that changes. Told him as long as the next one is better he will be OK again.

I got 15 stops starting Monday. 1st is sayerville, then 8 in CT and 6 in MA. So I'm home doing a 34 and will leave in the AM.

    haha:biggrin_25522:

at least its only 15 stops it could be worse.

Sucks about the trailer door though, some of those inside docks are crazy tight.

I'm not sure where in CT and MA your delivering but BE CAREFUL some of our "regular" stops up there are tricky to get into, and 1 in particular does NOT receive on mondays although they will often route you there for a monday delivery lol.. If you have any problems call me.

Guess I need to update this

Took ALL week to get my stops off
My first stop was sayreville, was in a door by 8 (the time my bills said they start recieving) they didn't get done till about 1200
I pull out and park on the street, going to try to pull out my next couple stops. I got stuff on my trailer going to NY, I don't have any stops in NY on this trip. So I call OSD and they say leave it at sayreville. I go back in and tell them, they say find a door. I put it back in the same door i was in earlier go in and tell them. The warehouse guy says they are doing something else now, either wait or take it off myself. So I take it off myself, go back in to tell them and he says the guy is out in the warehouse go find him and let him know where it is. i'm out in the warehouse looking for him and the guy in dispatch gets on the loud speaker and is a total az$ to me. by this time its 1300

I go to my next stop in Greenwich, CT, park on the street and check in. the guy tells me to go dow to this round about to turn around and they'll block traffic so I can back in. So I go turn around and i'm waiting to get into the intersection so I can back into this place and the COPS chase me off, said i'm obstructing traffic, told them i was going into this place and would be out of the way in a minute, NOPE I had to go. I leave and find a place to stop, call the customer and they said come back, park on the street and they will take it there, so I do and he is signing my bills as i pull the last piece to the tailgate.

Get out of there and stop 3 closed by the time I got out of sayreville, so I go on to call stop 4, they are closed, go on to stop 5 (right down the street from where i'm fueling) get in there and they got 4 trailers in the back for a warehouse, the girl goes out and opens 1 of them and said to back up to it. She and I get their stuff off (they had sent there guys home already) get their stuff off and go to the pilot and park for the night.

Get up and I'm going to fuel, they are lined up out to the street for fuel, I got 1/2 tank, so I leave without fuel go back to stop 3 and there is another truck there he said he would try to get me after that full TL, so I figure I got time to make it over to stop 4 instead of waiting.

Get about 500 yards from stop 4 and blew a tire AND hub seal on the trailer (same wheel) I limp into the customer and they take their 1 piece. parked out of the way and waited on road service, 3 hours later he shows up and fixes the tire problem, but can't do anything about the hub. so I call the shop back and they give me 2 phone numbers. call the first one and they can't get to it till NEXT Friday (10 days away), call the second number and they can do it, but i have to come to them 10 miles away. follow THEIR directions and wind up in a shopping center with only 1 way in and out big enough for trucks. a cop happened to show up and gave me directions to the shop and helped me get out of there. I get to the shop and they want me to back into the place about 10 feet wide, mechanic directs me and he did a GREAT job. get in there he looks at it and starts calling for parts. trailer had auto inflator on it and he didn't have any hubs for it. it's going to take a day and a half to get one, I called the shop told them and they said put a regular hub on it cap off the inflator and take it to blue ridge when I get back to Conover. By the time I get out of ther it's too late do deliver anything so I go back to the TS and park for the night.

Get up Wednesday and head to stop 6, they don't show up till like 930 Suppose to open at 8. only 1 middle aged lady shows up, so i unload it and put it in a corner of the warehouse and go. didn't have any other setbacks this day except the tiny roads in CT and got off 5 stops. find a TS about 5 miles from the last stop I got off and there is lots of parking and it has a resturant.

Get up Thursday and Make 5 stops, one of them is a PITA, blind side Jackknife and still blocking part of 1 lane, for 1 piece. now all I have left is stop 3, call them and they siad they would take it first thing in the morning. head back to the Pilot I had already been to 2 times this week and shut down, got a pre plan while enroute to TS.

Get up early Friday and fuel and head over to the customer, there is a truck there, I go talk to the driver he said he don't mind if i go in front of him. they start recieving at 9 and the guy comes and gets me at about 850. I'm out of there by 9. I call the shipper and asked if they will load me early, my appointment is 1500 and i can be there about 1130. they said the product is not made yet should be ready about 1400 but there is plenty of room for me to wait. I head over, get there and they tell me to put it in a door. I sat they didn't start ;oading till 1500. about 1630 i get the bills, pull out and closing the doors, guy comes out and says i need 1 more skid. I siad the trailer is full, he said he will make it fit. back into the dock again and they take the boxes off the pallet and throw them in the trailer(cardboard box load) finaly get out of there at 1700 and get stuck in rush hour traffic. make it to the TA in Brigeport, CT and stop since i'm running out of hours and I'm sure the Pilot if full already.

    Scheduled Actual
    Monday 7 3(plus 1 extra at sayreville)
    Tuesday 7 1
Wednesday 1 5 Was suppose to be MT today
    Thursday 0 5
    Friday 0 1

Get up early Saturday and drive 10.75 hours home, 8 miles from reciever.

Monday show up at the reciever at about 845 and am done by 930. Take the back roads back to Conover, I found an OOS on my pre-trip. Get to Conover drop the trailer and tag it for the hub seal and go to Penske. Get the truck fixed and go back to the terminal. no loads, so I go down to the lower lot and go to bed.

Get up Tuesday and I walk in about the same time as Kenny, he says he has a 4am in Gibbstown, NJ tomorrow, OK get the bills find the trailer and go get up ther with just about enough time to get my 10 in before appointment.

Wednesday, put it in the door at exactly 4, don't get a green light till about 630, it only took about 45 minutes to unload don't know why they waited to give me the green light. That's OK I need those hours any way. send in my MT and head to the TA 1.5 miles away, go get a shower and eat, still nothing. about 1100, call broker. called and get "they do a real thorough trailer inspection, what year is your trailer" trailer is in great shape it's a 2001 "we'll have to get permision to load something that old, we'll call back and let you know" I wait an hour call them, "we had to leave a voice mail and they haven't called back, we'll let you know as soon as we can" so I send a message to kh2 and she said go to sayreville and check the trailers there. I calle the broker to tell them i'm going to look for another trailer and I will be about 30 minutes late for appointment, they siad i'm good with the trailer i have. so I head over to the shipper in Allentown, PA and they didn't even look at the trailer, they just loaded it. Called the broker told them I was loaded and I would be about an hour late for delivery due to HOS. I start down the road and stop at Toms Brook, VA to check hours, time and such. go into the TS, come out and got a flat on the tractor. Call the shop, talk to like 4 people and they said sombody will call me back. about 10 minutes later Penske calls ask where I am where i'm going, what tire, etc. said sombody will be ther in half an hour, 15 minutes later a guy shows up (from across the street) doesn't even look at the tire, pulls it off and puts a new one on. I strap it down to the catwalk, eat and go to bed.

get up at 330 and at 4 and head to the reciever 4 hours away for a 730 appointment in Greensboro, NC. get there and "your late, your dispatcher is calling looking for you. put it in door ## and we'll try to work you in" as i'm backing in the broker calls and leaves a voice mail. i get in the dock and check it "customer is calling wandering where you are" so I call back and say i'm at the customer. was there about 15 minuts and they come get my keys and unload me, give me my keys back and signed bills. I sned in my MT and head to Thomasville. They didn't have anything, but were working on 2 and there was only 1 local guy there today, so I wait. they finally get 1 loaded, so I grab it, throw the tire in there, and head to Conover. Get to Conover drop the trailer, turn in the bills, grab the tire and go to Penske to turn it in. Get back to the terminal and Sheila is at the dispatch window, she asked where I wanted to go. Told here I would like to go to MS due to my nephew graduating, so she trys to get me something to Myrtle, nothing. So she says she will give me a multi stop TX first thing in the morning, get to MS get my 34 and get to work. I go out to the truck and look at the map and figure miles on many places in TX, as nobody knows where this load will start at yet, best I can figure is 80 miles OOR, I go to tell her and she said she would talk to me about it in the morning. So I shower, eat and park in the lower lot for the night.

Get up go in and wait, Shelia comes in and says "we got to get you to Myrtle" I told her it was too far OOR and fuel and such. She said don't worry about it and said she had a 4 stop Dallas. I go to the ware house and they say NOTHING will be ready till atleast 1700. SO I tell dispatch and tell them I'll just take whatever as I won't have time to stop in MS now, and go home. I call and talked to Kenny about 6 and hey says NJ, he'll call back with details. He calls my back 12 stops starting in sayreville ending in Mass. Hope this goes better than my last LTL up there.
